Telehandler Licence Course Perth

Telehandler training courses are designed to give participants the skills they need to operate a telescopic materials handler (telehandler) in a secure and efficient manner. Training is based on the National High Risk Competence Licensing Unit: 'RIIHAN309F – Performing telescopic materials handling operations.

Courses are a mixture of class theory, practical demonstration and evaluation covering all facets of service, including legislation; hazards and risk control; planning; pre-use inspections; load charts; load characteristics; attachments; secure operation; transport; monitoring procedures; shutdown and post-operation tests.

Participants who have successfully completed a telehandler training course would have the benefit of securing operational positions in the construction & infrastructure, transport & logistics, industrial, mining, oil and gas sectors.

Upon successful completion of a course, individuals will obtain a Statement of Attainment and wallet card for RIIHAN309E – Performing telescopic materials handling operations.

When you have a pass for a telehandler, you must upgrade it every five years. Renewal includes payment of sufficient WorkSafe Australia fees.

A telehandler ticket will grant you the right to operate a telescopic handler and its attachments in a variety of heavy lifting machine operator jobs.
